People who went to the May 5th screening or know something about it --

So is it true that we'll have to fill out Surveys of some kind that Universal is passing around? What kind of questions does it ask, if so? How long does it take to fill out? Will they provide pencils? Will they want their pencils back? :-)

I've never been to a preview screening before, so I am very excited, unfinished soundtrack or not.

There were survey's at Portland, you fill out one side before the movie (do you know who Joss is? Would you watch a movie of geese mating if he directed it?) that sort of thing, and then the other side after (Was it too violent? Would you recommend this as fun for a boy or a girl?) They had pencils, we kept ours, lol.

We also got Serenity keychains and little posters. All in good fun.

And now I have 12 hours to find a replacement babysitter since mine is being a twat.

Thanks. Damn, your example questions are pretty funny. Sadly, I *would* watch a movie of geese mating if he directed it. Holy crap, I'm a sad case. ;-)

Good luck finding a babysitter!

There weren't any questionnaires in San Francisco. There were autographed small posters and key rings.

I know you'll have a fab time.

hmm, does the survey specify that the goose breeder is played by Nathan Fillion or Alexis Denisof.

fun for a boy or a girl???? god love studios and their institutional sexism.

*sigh* I'm not going. My babysitter situation coupled with the four hour drive (two each way) I just decided to let [livejournal.com profile] rainkatt take her boyfriend. They'll have fun and the gas money I save will allow me to buy groceries.

Um yeah, I may be Pollyannaing, lol.

And the fun for a boy or a girl comment was just me being silly, it used to be the tagline for Slinkies. The questions are much more like would you recommend this to (check all that apply) someone under 13, 14-20, male, female, horror fans, scifi fans, etc.

Hope you all enjoy it!

same basic principle, though.

at one point, I wrote a mock market-research survey for an Elizabethan audience that had just seen "Romeo & Juliet"; I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

That's cool, though, free stuff. :-) And you all got Alan and Gina.
