Oh holy cats above, some completely random Flickr stranger has marked this snapshot of one of our kitties as one of her "favorite" photos.

I'm thinking, Wha? huh? But it's just a crappy out-of-focus cell phone picture, like all the others I have up there!?!?!? Because most of this person's other "favorites" are nice, high-quality pictures taken with cameras that have fancy names.

But then another part of my brain is saying, someone thinks our kitty is beautiful!

And the guilty part of my brain is shouting, WHY haven't I had time to upload pretty pictures of our other kitty? She's going to feel JEALOUS!

Oh, that won't work. I am positive she already knows, because the other day I got spam in my yahoo email, and it was adressed to her! I think she's been logging in and using my email address to register at various websites. Clever little feline. Of course, she forgot those sites were then going to sell her name and email address to spammers!

Oh my dear kitten above, what a perfect icon you have there. Make sure you have a good camera on hand to take pictures -- they grow up so fast that if you don't, you will end up with three grainy photographs and an adult kitty.

You two are much better parents of your cats than we are of our kids. Our website doesn't have current pictures of Evan and Nathan, and we don't even carry around photos of them. But when I asked to see your kitties, out come the cell phones with snapshots!

Oh the shame, that I didn't have anything to show in return... I'm a bad mommy...

You are NOT a bad mommy! It takes more time and energy to raise and care for kids than cats, leaving less time to take and organize pictures of them.
