Bitten

All that time in Colorado I used so much Deep Woods OFF to keep away those evil West Nile infested mosquitos and did not get bitten ever.

But now that I am back home and it is daytime, and I am at work, in my cubicle, I got bitten four times quickly, before I realized, and now it is too late. Wonderful Kerri had some OFF for me, so that's it for bites at last.

Fortunately these Rhode Island mosquitos have not caused any trouble this year -- we aren't even on the list (whereas check out Colorado, with 940 reported cases and 11 of those people died, fortunately not my mom).

I keep hearing about all the mosquitos in Canada, but have never seen one. I must not go when they're around. They are around in New Orleans about 9 months out of the year, no lie. Ugh, I am so allergic.

I have to wear OFF when I walk the dog in the morning and at night. Fortunately, I can get away with the spray that has the "fresh scent." However, in Mississippi they are killers and I have to douse myself in the super strong Deep Woods OFF or they attack instantly. Last time I was there I got about ten bites within 5 minutes.

HORRIBLE FUCKERS.

I guess they are just hungry (for blood, not unlike vampires!) and probably don't even have the brains to know they are disease vectors. Still, in spite of all that, I still hate them.
