A Veronica Mars question

Wallace is back! But can someone please tell me why he left in the first place, and where he went? I am very confused by this. When did I nod off for two seconds and miss that? Help!

He went off a few episodes ago with his real dad.

But I thought he didn't like the guy! Or was he even more upset at his mom for not telling him about his Dad? Was that why he went? I can't remember.

He was definitely mad at his mum, but I think he was just curious about his dad. It's not that he didn't like him, he didn't *know* him.

And all this timed around a period when Veronica wasn't the best friend she possibly could be, and I think he just felt he had to get away and think for a while.

I see. So maybe we'll find out what the dad's really like, when the next episode airs. I love how happy he made Veronica, just showing up like that right when she was feeling scroogy.
