stupid time of the month

chickenOh, the horrible cramps.
So I go to the store to buy some maxipads. I pick up some other things instead, and forget about them, and grab some of those crunchy cheesy naughty yummy snacks.
I get to the register and then realize (barely before the cashier is done ringing up) that I forgot the actual thing I came for. I explained to the cashier, who laughed and was sympathetic and waited while I ran back for some. Let me tell you, if she had been pissy, I might have done something insane.
And in that same vein, the first thing the cats picked up this morning was a (wrapped and new, not used) tampon. Both were seen dragging it around the house. Hilarious.
