Snow shovelling outfit
Dec. 7th, 2003 01:06 am1.) underwear and regular socks
2.) eddie bauer silk long johns, top and bottom
3.) thick wool socks
4.) thick denim jeans
5.) thick purple sweather
6.) heavy hiking boots
7.) ski mask (?!? bunny strongly suggested I put this on)
8.) pink winter coat
9.) thick padded maroon gloves
Putting a ski mask on OVER one's glasses doesn't really work very well, because the glasses keep going askew, and keep getting partially covered by the mask. However, putting the ski mask on under them is impossible, because of course one's ears are under the mask.
Bunny was great and cleared off more than half of the car before I even got all these clothes on.
Of course we will have to do all of this again after it stops snowing. I told myself that at least we got one layer off and that we had saved ourselves a lot of trouble, but I'm not really sure that's true.
