chickenToday I saw an enormous orange cat (very big for a feral cat) carrying a DEAD SQUIRREL in its mouth. Mind you, it was crossing my parking lot behind my apartment, and I almost hit it. I was quite shocked, and braked barely in time.
I have indoor cats, who are well-fed and never ever go outside. The last time I saw this kind of wild predator was on freaking Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, for crying out loud! I must stop being so sheltered and naive. ;-) At least there was no visible blood.
