Pawtucket is damn ubiquitous
Jul. 7th, 2004 03:03 pmI've discovered that no matter what city, county, or road one is in/on in S.E Mass. and Northern R.I., no matter which one, if you get lost, or follow a sign that says it leads to [some city other than Pawtucket], you still ALWAYS end up in Pawtucket.
Do all roads lead to Pawtucket? Is it busy moving around in the space-time continuum so that it is always there, wherever you are? Are little gremlins pushing it into the path?
Why is it that I somehow always end up in Pawtucket?
Apparently every single back road and side street in North Providence, Providence, Attleboro, Norton, Foxboro, Mansfield, Seekonk, Rehobeth, Swansea, and East Providence ALL lead to Pawtucket.
Either that or the people who made my car built in some kind of secret Pawtucket Homing Device.
