What a relief!

So the presentation went well. It was all about Subversion, the version control system.

I was so nervous beforehand that I only got 3 hours of sleep the night before and only ate 1/4 of my lunch, but it went okay, I think. I'm not sure why public speaking type situations make me nervous, but oh well, it's over!! And I think people did learn something.

Next time I will definitely start preparing further in advance, though, because I didn't really feel prepared.

I'm so behind on my Flist. I'm glad your presentation went well. I used to hate to present but after teaching 15 years, I can do it in my sleep. Before that, I used to think I was going to hyperventilate to death.

It was a little less stressful than I'd imagined -- I haven't done one for a few years. I hope my supervisor appreciated that I actually took the initiative to set this up and follow through with it.

I suppose most of teaching is preparation and presentation.
