List your current six favourite songs, then pick six other people that have to do the same.

1) "Goodnight and Go", Imogen Heap
2) "Let Go", Frou Frou
3) "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk", Rufus Wainwright
4) "Love Will Come Through", Travis
5) "A Lack of Color", Death Cab for Cutie
6) "Combat Baby", Metric

Not necessarily my six absolute favorite, but they came up highest when sorting my iTunes playlist by play count.

The current six most-played in my iTunes library are:

"Poison Flowers", Mono Puff
"Pumpkin, Mrs. Farnsworth", Interröbang Cartel
"Damn Good Times", They Might Be Giants
"Thank You For Sending Me An Angel", Talking Heads
"Jocko Homo", Devo
"Back-Stabbing Liar", Mono Puff

There's a certain Flansburghian slant here.

For more variety, here are my six most-played songs from the SXSW free BitTorrent:

"Ultimate Teem", Best Fwends
"Sunshine", Old Man River
"Shitty Bum", C-Mon & Kypski
"Damn Damn Leash", Be Your Own Pet
"Don't Rock The Jukebox", Petty Booka
"Bobbed Hair", Titan Go King's (sic)

Don't ask me to defend any of this.

I suppose it isn't surprising that the one song I have in common with you from this list is "Pumpkin, Mrs. Farnsworth". Hmmmm.

No need to defend anything. :-)

Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk almost made my top 6 as well. Love Rufus!

Almost? Well, six is a kind of weird number. Don't know why it wasn't the top, say, nine?
