Being stuck in Cincinnati when I could have been home with my bunny was not funny. Neither was standing in line for three hours trying to get re-booked. I officially hate Delta.
I was in that airport on Tuesday! My flight was delayed. Where were you? We could have passed each other and not known it! I was there from 1:15 pm EST to about 4 pm EST.
I was in the Delta flight 2120 re-booking line to Cincinnati, from 1 to 4 also. We might have both been in that stupid, stupid line.
I mean really, they could have passed out numbers for us to take turns so we could sit down and relax, or they could have had self-re-booking kiosks, or any number of other solutions other than making a hundred of so passengers stand in line for a WHOLE THREE STUPID HOURS. Yes, we all missed our connections past Cincinnati. But couldn't they have found a more efficient way to get us on new flights?
And the hotel they put us in overnight kinda sucked.
I was in the international flights section around gate C, so I probably wasn't near you, but it still would've been cool to meet! I had the worst airplane experience ever with Delta about three years ago, so I feel your pain.
