I think anyone can tell my new digital camera is cheap and crappy (Target, the only one they had), and that my Photoshop skills kinda suck.

However, just to see if anyone is paying attention, tell me what building I was standing when I took this picture: Lame picture.

Hmmm... Are you in the Fenway-ish vicinity? I can tell from the placement of the Pru and the Hancock that you're on the other side of downtown from them, but that's it. It's hard to judge your distance from them, though.

You do win the prize, as that is as close as I expected anyone to get. :-) Good call. Now you can all see the non-Photoshopped larger version of the picture and look for what I erased from the smaller version and you will know where I was standing. It's all very silly, actually.

Ah, okay. I see now. I wasn't as close as I thought I was. I swear, I can't tell anything unless I'm actually out on the street.

Yes, agreed -- although when I tried to take a picture down on the street, a bus nearly ran me down. I know too well but stupidly forgot that when they come motoring down Melnea Cass into Ruggles, they don't stop for cars, pedestrians, bicylcists, or any combination. Also, the view is better and the air fresher at the top of the parking garage.

I always wanted to go to MIT and take a picture of the inifite corridor, but now that seems really cheesy and trite. Isn't it?

No, the infinite corridor is pretty cool.
