Oh, yes. What a fabulous and funny book it is, Lies (and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them): A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right. It joins Skipping Towards Gomorrah on my list of books that deftly point out the failings of the right-wing.

The best part is, our dear friend David stood in line with hundreds of people to get it signed, and then sent it to us as a surprise.

And it arrived only one day after the Angel Season Two DVDs! Happy happy.

I'm halfway through "Lies" right now and enjoying it immensely. Unfortunately, I don't get to read as much as I'd like to throughout the day, and all. Pesky work.

David, my sister, and I all have tickets to see Al Franken when he speaks here in St. Louis, and then then on to a signing. Looking forward to it. It's in one week, actually. Should be cool. All three of us have been interested since we saw the Book Expo event that Franken talks about in the Bill O'Reilly chapter on television.

Wow, you get to see him? That's enviable.

It is also taking me a while to read, as work is indeed pressing. But I flipped ahead to that chapter and read it.

Wow, I love that he got a hold of O'Reilly's mother, and his actual voter registration form, both to prove the lies. Wow. Ya gotta laugh.
