chicken: (39. Happy new year)

We're back! I'm at skip minus a million, so it's unlikely I'll be able to catch up.

Florida was AWESOME. We wore shorts! Bunny's brother and family were wonderful (even the overly boisterous "Puggle" dog, Sammy). We sat in the Sauna on her brother's lanai, watching the sun set over the lake. DUDE. We did tourist stuff. We saw alligators!

What is it like to be back in cold New England?

Answer: BRRRR. There is NO HEAT in our apartment.

Welcome back! Oh God, I'd love to have some warm weather right now. Of course, I moan from May to September that it's too hot...

BTW, I have sorted out almost all the problems on my portfolio! I changed the width to 80% like you suggested, and it looks fine at 800x600. Phew :)

Awesome about the portfolio. Let me know if there are any more issues.

I miss that nice weather and the people so much!

Thanks! Awesome icon, BTW. Those look a lot like our actual bunny slippers. :-)

I don't think Calgary knows what winter is anymore. It's perfectly nice, considering it's the middle of blerking January. Glad to hear you had an awesome vacation!

Colorado was like that a few years back. Sixty or seventy degrees Fahrenheit in January, then in February back to freezing cold.

Thanks!

I wondered where you'd gone. I wore shorts here in Houston today.

Anyway. I'm glad you had fun and welcome back.

No heat in New England? Yikes! Cover up!

Welcome back!

I wouldn't mind some Florida heat right now. Actually it isn't that cold but there was no heat in the bus this morning and after sitting still in it for 30 minutes my nose is frozen.

*snuggles up with you*

Hi hi hi!!! Welcome back! And no heat? I hope by now that has changed for the better!

We're going to be going to Florida to visit family in February. It makes for a nice break, doesn't it?

Still no heat. The landlord said that today someone was coming to figure out what was wrong.

Glad you get to go to Florida, too! Awww, what nice weather.
