It's an after-school special, and is actually appallingly bad. It is based on the EXCELLENT book version by Daniel Pinkwater. While the book is great, this so-called movie is terrible because the production values are bad, the acting is horrible, and the sets are unimaginative. However, I still bought it anyway, because, CHICKENS!

I have since gotten rid of it, however.
