So what did people think of the little train delivering sweets? And how about Alan, not losing! I also loved that he was obsessed with Gromit.

I'm sorry you missed it!

However, I do have to say I love your Stewie icon. We've only watched four or five FG episodes and already, my Bunny can do a flawless Stewie voice.

I was looking forward to it all week as well. And I can't seem to find a torrent tracker that works. This calls for a major pouting!

I am a fan of Family Guy, but 95% of the reason I watch is for Stewie. Best character by far. :D

I love Stewie. Brian is also very interesting. I also like that everyone tries to have (and mostly fails) Rhode Island accents (because it's supposed to take place there and all). The actors are not from there and you can tell -- they all strike more around a New York or Boston accent than a RI one, but it's still cute. (Yes, my Bunny is a native Rhode Islander and I lived there for over 18 years).

Also, I can't get that damn creepy old man / pedophile character (Herbert?) out of my mind. It's so horrible and pathetic and funny the way he hums the ice cream truck tune. ARGH!!

Being more familiar with The Simpsons and South Park, it's interesting to compare the shows. Peter is more pathetic than Homer in some ways, and less pathetic in others. And of course, as gross and weird as the kids get on FG, I haven't seen anything quite as bad as some of Cartman's worst. Not yet.

I liked how Bill was so keen to get a sweet!

Which episode had the Brunel tunnel? Designing a tunnel through a mountain so that the Sun shines through it on your birthday is PROPER engineering. It makes me proud to be British.

Everyone always makes a big deal of the fact that many ancient Celtic, Inca, Mayan, or Egyptian artifacts have features of this kind (the sun shining through a specific important part of the structure on a specific important day of the year like the solstice). I wasn't aware that more modern structures also sometimes had this kind of feature. So nifty.

I love the way the contestants tried to steal each other's sweets off the train as it went by.
