Microsoft fright

I've decided not to listen to NPR all day today, because right before one of my favorite programs, when they list the supporters of the show, "this program funded by Corportation X, Corporation Y, and listeners like you" -- during that, they listed damn Microsoft. And I was just thinking, will Darth Gates and Co. soon be determining the soon-to-be no longer -open-source content of public radio soon? Aaaaaaaah. There have been a lot of other evil and semi-evil large corporations listed lately. Ugh.

Don't worry too much. I recently read an article/poll that said only 4% of NPR listeners were misinformed about what actual went on with the War on Iraq.

The NPR ombudsman replied to this sort of concern not too long ago, for what that's worth.
