Does anyone know how to get water out of one's ear? My right ear has had water in it for several days now, and nothing I try gets rid of it.

The only thing that's ever worked for me is jumping up and down for a bit. Eventually, I've always felt a popping, and then relief.

Good luck. That's a really annoying feeling.

Yes, I have tried the jumping up and down thing a lot, in different positions and different head positions, all without results. :-(

Get thee to a drugstore immediately! You could get an inner ear infection if you don't clear that up. Buy some Swimmer's Ear eardrops. That should do the trick.

Oh dear. I so don't want an ear infection. Thanks.

OK, I called a doctor, who said those drops would be bad right now and that I should go see my doctor tomorrow. But it was a very good thought.

She gave me some different wax-ridding drops, apparently the water was trapped in the ear behind a lot of wax. It will be fine. Thank you again.
