I love that she stands up for her political beliefs on top of being a great actor and very sexy.

This is true. I was on this TV show Access Hollywood and I had someone say: "OK, you're on in five seconds. We just want you to say: 'Hey Arnold, this is Eliza, rooting for you, you have my vote.' OK, go Eliza!" And I had to say: "Whoa, wait a minute, are you high? Haven't you checked my political views? I'm a Democrat." And they were like: "Well, aren't you guys friends?"


Those Access Hollywood people are way clueless.

I don't know if she truly is a feminist or not, but she has said she is, and she definitely identified her mother as a feminist, a 'feminist Mormon'. Now I personally think that that is a contradiction in terms (although it is apparent that the family younger than her Grandmother's generation are rather lapsed Mormons, or obviously she wouldn't be an actress).

Go ahead and fall in love with her regardless, it's very easy. Soon you will be writing scads of Buffy/Faith femslash. ;-)

I don't know much about Mormons, myself. I wonder what a feminist Mormon household would be like? All 7 wives refusing to bring the hubby his beer and slippers? :D
