Objects in Space
May. 2nd, 2004 04:52 amNow that I've finally seen all 13 episodes, how to sum up? It is a series which radically tears at genre boundaries and conventions while still keeping at its core a love of those conventions. Science fiction, western, drama, comedy, past/present/future.
But there cannot be objects in space, how can there be a film when Fox has probably destroyed the Serenity set? How could a new built-from-scratch Firefly-class spaceship come out looking enough like the original set? Eh?
Also, Adam Baldwin comes off as smart in the DVD commentary, not at all like his character.
Disjointed journal entry number twenty trillion.
