Bronchitis-y thing

So I didn't get hit as hard as my poor bunnyohare did, with the sick thing.

Her fever at one time went over 101 degrees F, whereas mine has never topped 99.7.

But the coughing has been spectacularly rib-crunching. Ow ow ow.

Although the codeine helps a lot.

I guess " 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' " doesn't really apply to brand name/drug words like 'codeine'. Hmmm.

Am also dreadfully tired of massive ear and jaw pain. The dentist said to have a "soft" diet. I get that that means no chips, no bagels, no steak, but what about, say, lettuce? You gotta eat green things or you die. Cuz lettuce has lots of chewing involved. Ow.

The pain was v. bad yesterday. Today it is less bad.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear you're so sick. I've had bronchitis; I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. How cruel is it to have an illness where laughter is so painful?

Please get plenty of rest! I tend to try to get "back to normal" too soon, and pay the price with a relapse or lengthened recovery time. I hope you feel better soon!
