First step done!

I am so excited. In spite of the rain the day does not seem gloomy.

Ellie and I went to Attleboro town hall to file our notice of intent to marry!!!

We decided we are going to move to Massachusetts, because that will make everything easier.

And, the big news is that we are going to take on a hyphenated last name made up of first hers, and then my last name.

Very, very exciting. We figured it will make us more a part of one another's families and closer to each other. Plus, since we both have rather hard-to-pronounce, non-Anglo-Saxon last names, the kid(s) will be saddled with a tough one any way, so why not make it a touch more confusing yet. ;-)

My thanks. We'll see when it happens; Ellie's current part-time work goes through about September at least, and then depending on where job offers are located ... I am a little afraid of how high the rents are in some parts of the state, but we do really want to hopefully be able to afford it.
