Farscape DVD question

chickenOk. so half my friends list are Farscape fans, and this neat Buffy fan at work told me to watch Farscape, too. So I decided to add it to my Netflix queue. But instead of the usual 6 disks with four episodes on each disk, give or take, I see that they have added ELEVEN disks to my queue, with only two episodes on each disk, and the episodes are apparently out of order! Episodes 1 and 7 on disk one, 2 and 4 on disk two, 3 and 6 on disk three, etc.
Why?
I can't contemplate renting them in this fashion, because oh my god. It's just untenable. Someone please explain.
