Japanese translation?

Someone at work gave me a new year's present, a cute notepad from http://www.san-x.co.jp/ with chickens and rabbits all over it (picture: http://www.monkeybusinesswebsite.com/catalog/item/1590227/1038569.htm). On the front, it says, "kao de shoubu nanoda". Can anyone translate that? I can deal with Chinese, but not Japanese. Thanks!

Well, it just seems incomplete. Who knows?

Well, kao is face, and shoubu is warlike. But I think nanoda makes that into it's opposite, hence sweet face.
