Last week's episode was so awful that saying this one was good in comparison isn't really much of a compliment. However, I do mean it as one, because it was just leaps and bounds better.

Jenny, I still can't stand, Mark I still hate, and Tina I still love. I adore Dana and Alice. They are cute, funny and sexy all at the same time, and they have some good chemistry. Plus, lines like, "Tonya, you're a scary robot..." and the conservative mother getting a lap dance at the bachelorette party? Hilarious. Even the Melissa Rivers thing was hilarious, despite also being enraging. Very complex and well-done.

Also, when does the next season as QAF begin? Anyone?

I was going to reply to this until I realized there was a new episode tonight I haven't seen yet because I need to download it. So I'll be back.

Love the Justine icon.

Well then, tell me your feelings on last week's episode? I now realize that when I said last week's sucked, I meant the week before that (two weeks ago), because I was also behind -- I had to download last week's and watch it quickly before this week's, so they sort of blended together in my mind. (I went away for a week to visit the parents, and they don't have Showtime, not even my Dad).

I adore Justine, thanks. Love your icon, too. Can't have too much Faith.

QAF starts in May. I think the exact date is on the Showtime website. Sort of, as soon as the L Word ends its run, QAF starts up, which is good. I'm hoping Lindsay and Melanie will work out their problems.

My thoughts on this week's L Word are over here. Jenny annoys me no end. Good riddance to Tonya (although I didn't like the way they handled the break up. Too convenient, IMO). Mark is a pig beyond words, but there's a metaphorical level at which what they're doing with him is interesting. Tina I'm relating to more and more as she finds her own way in the world without Bette. Not that I don't want them together eventually, but not now.

Yeah, it was too convenient, and it really stole Dana's thunder. Although I liked how she said, "are you even gay?" -- that was funny.

As for Mark, yes, I get the metaphor, but it doesn't stop me from not liking the guy.

Oh, I can't stand him. He's the very image of arrogant male hetero priviledge.

But I'm still fascinated by what they're doing with the storyline. I think I have the luxury of being fascinated by it because I can still believe they're building him up for the big smack-down and I'm looking forward to seeing it. But part of me is steeling myself for them going in some more disappointing direction (god I hope not).
